Families may provide proof of vaccination to the health room for students that have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. (Fully vaccinated means two weeks after the second dose in a two-dose series.) Students that are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will not be considered a close contact and therefore not need to be quarantined in the event of an exposure at school.

Please remind your students to be considerate of vehicles parked in the neighborhood around our school when walking before or after school. Damaging private property is a criminal offense in Colorado and can incur a fine based on the value of damage.

School Breakfast Changes

Illustration: a brown paper bag with its top closed, an apple, and a boxed drink container labeled 'milk'.Due to staffing limitations and public health precautions, our school breakfast service will be grab-and-go only starting tomorrow, November 18th. Students arriving at school between 7:00 - 7:20 am can enter the cafeteria directly from the side entrance, pick up their breakfast food, and then exit the building to the front outside area of the school. Students arriving after 7:20 will enter the cafeteria from the side door, pick up their breakfast food, and then take their food to their classrooms.

As students should refrain from eating or drinking in the hallway, we ask that students either eat their food while waiting outside or wait until they are seated in their classrooms. Breakfast privileges may be taken away from students if they chronically fail to follow the above guidelines, so please remind students of these expectations.

Finally, please remember that students are not allowed inside the school building until 7:20 am except to pick up a grab-and-go breakfast. If students need to be dropped off before 7:20, please ensure that they have dressed appropriately for the weather. Families in need of assistance obtaining winter clothing may contact the school office at 303-982-3056 or the Mountain Resource Center at 303-838-7552.
